Walter Clemons (* 14. November 1929 in Houston; † 6. July 1994 in Long Island City) was an american literary critic and editor. He was 64 years old. His education included Magdalen College and Princeton University. He worked at Newsweek, McGraw-Hill Education, Vanity Fair and The New York Times. He was awarded the Rhodes Scholarship.
