Biography of Walter Gordy

Walter Gordy (* 20. April 1909 in Newton County; † 6. October 1985) was an american chemist. He was 76 years old. His education included Mississippi College and University of North Carolina. He worked at Duke University, Ohio State University, University of Mary Hardin–Baylor, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and California Institute of Technology. He received 4 awards, including honorary doctor of the University of Lille, Jesse W. Beams Award.
