Biography of Wanda Landowska

Wanda Landowska (* 5. July 1879 in Warsaw; † 16. August 1959 in Lakeville) was a polnische Cembalistin und Pianistin. She was 80 years old. She studied at Chopin University of Music. She worked at École Normale de Musique de Paris Alfred Cortot and Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. She was awarded the Officer of the Order of Polonia Restituta. Her cause of death was disease. She was buried at Taverny cemetery.
