Wassili Sergejewitsch Jefremow (* 1. January 1915 in Volgograd; † 18. August 1990 in Kyiv) was a twice Hero of the Soviet Union. He was 75 years old. He studied at Stalingrad Military Aviation School of Pilots. He received 6 awards, including Order of the Red Banner, Order of Lenin. He was buried at Mamayev Kurgan.
