Biography of Watts S. Humphrey

Watts S. Humphrey (* 4. July 1927 in Battle Creek; † 28. October 2010 in Sarasota) was an amerikanischer Informatiker, verantwortlich unter anderem für die Entwicklung des Capability Maturity Model. He was 83 years old. His education included Booth School of Business, Illinois Institute of Technology and University of Chicago. He worked at IBM, Software Engineering Institute and Carnegie Mellon University. His awards include National Medal of Technology and Innovation, Stevens Award and ACM Fellow.
