Biography of Wilen Andrejewitsch Tschekanjuk

Wilen Andrejewitsch Tschekanjuk (* 12. October 1932 in Zhmerynka; † 21. September 2000 in Kyiv) was a sowjetischer und ukrainischer Maler. He was 67 years old. He studied at National Academy of Visual Arts and Architecture. He worked at National Academy of Visual Arts and Architecture. His awards include Honored Art Worker of the USSR, People's Painter of the USSR and Nikolay Ostrovsky Republican Komsomol Prize. He was buried at Baikove Cemetery.
