William Edward Willmott (* 7. February 1932 in Chengdu; † 12. October 2021) was a social anthropologist in New Zealand. He was 89 years old. He was married to Ann Berney. His education included McGill University and University of London. He worked at University of Canterbury. He was awarded the Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit.
