Biography of William H. Goetzmann

William H. Goetzmann (* 20. July 1930 in Washington, D.C.; † 7. September 2010 in Austin) was an american historian of philosophy. He was 80 years old. His education included Yale University and St. Thomas High School. He worked at Harvard University and University of Texas at Austin. He received 5 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, Pulitzer Prize for History. His cause of death was heart failure. He was buried at Grove Street Cemetery.
