Biography
William Hardy McNeill (* October 31, 1917 in Vancouver; † July 8, 2016 in Torrington) was a canadian historian and writer. He was 98 years old. His education included University of Chicago Laboratory Schools and Cornell University. He received 6 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, Erasmus Prize.
