William Inge (* 3. May 1913 in Independence; † 10. June 1973 in Hollywood Hills) was an uS Amerikanischer Autor. He was 60 years old. His education included University of Kansas, Independence Community College and Peabody College. He worked at Washington University in St. Louis and Stephens College. His awards include Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Academy Award for Best Writing, Original Screenplay and star on Playwrights' Sidewalk. His cause of death was carbon monoxide poisoning. He was buried at Mount Hope Cemetery.
