New Zealand-born Australian literary scholar and dictionary editor
William Stanley Ramson (* 4. December 1933 in Lower Hutt; † 5. October 2011) was a new Zealand-born Australian literary scholar and dictionary editor. He was 77 years old. His education included Victoria University of Wellington and University of Sydney. He worked at Australian National University. His awards include Fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities, Member of the Order of Australia and Centenary Medal.
