Biography
Wojciech Kilar (* July 17, 1932 in Lviv; † December 29, 2013 in Katowice) was a polish composer and pianist. He was 81 years old. He studied at Academy of Music in Katowice. His faith was Catholicism. He received 7 awards, including Golden Medal for Merit to Culture, Louis Delluc Prize. His cause of death was brain cancer. He was buried at Cemetery on Sienkiewicza Street in Katowice.
