Yakov Kozin (* 19. October 1896 in Nizhny Chir; † 18. February 1973 in Simferopol) was a soviet geologist. He was 76 years old. His education included école militaire de Kazan, Baku State University and Azerbaijan State Oil and Industrial University. He worked at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industrial University and Tavrida National V.I. Vernadsky University. His awards include Order of the Red Star and Order of the Red Banner of Labour.
