Biography of Yash Pal

Yash Pal (* 26. November 1926 in Jhang; † 24. July 2017 in Noida) was an indian physicist. He was 90 years old. His education included Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Panjab University and Tata Institute of Fundamental Research. He worked at Jawaharlal Nehru University. He received 6 awards, including Lal Bahadur Shastri National Award, Kalinga Prize. His cause of death was lung cancer.
