Biography
Youssef Chahine (* January 25, 1926 in Alexandria; † July 27, 2008 in Cairo) was an egyptian film director. He was 82 years old. His education included Collège Saint Marc, Alexandria and Victoria College. His faith was Catholic Church. His awards include Silver Bear, François Chalais Prize and honorary doctor of Paris 8 University. His cause of death was cerebral hemorrhage.
