Biography
Yuri Manin (* February 16, 1937 in Simferopol; † January 7, 2023 in Bonn) was a russian mathematician. He was 85 years old. He studied at MSU Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics. He received 9 awards, including Knight Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, Pour le Mérite for Sciences and Arts order.
