Biography
Yves Bonnefoy (* June 24, 1923 in Tours; † July 1, 2016 in Paris) was a french poet, essayist, translator. He was 93 years old. He was married to Lucille Vines. His education included Faculty of Arts of Paris, Lycée Descartes and University of Poitiers. His faith was atheism. He received 10 awards, including Prix Goncourt de la Poésie, Grand prix de littérature de la SGDL.
