Yvonne Vera (* September 19, 1964 in Bulawayo; † April 7, 2005 in Toronto) was a zimbabwean writer. She was 40 years old. Her education included York University and Mzilikazi High School. She was awarded the Kurt Tucholsky Prize. Her cause of death was meningitis.
