Biography of Zoltán Pál Dienes

Zoltán Pál Dienes (* 11. September 1916 in Budapest; † 11. January 2014 in Nova Scotia) was an ungarischer Mathematikdidaktiker und Autor. He was 97 years old. His education included University of London, Piarist Gymnasium of Budapest and Dartington Hall School. He worked at University of Sherbrooke, Highgate School, Dartington Hall School, University of Southampton, University of Sheffield, University of Manchester, University of Leicester, Harvard University, University of Adelaide and Brandon University. His awards include honorary doctor of the University of Exeter and honorary doctor of Caen University. He was buried at Willow Bank Cemetery.
