Biography of Zongyi Rao

Zongyi Rao (* 9. August 1917 in Chaozhou; † 6. February 2018 in Hong Kong) was a chinesischer Maler und Sinologe. He was 100 years old. He studied at Shantou Jinshan Middle School. He worked at Yale University, École pratique des hautes études and National University of Singapore. He received 5 awards, including Grand Bauhinia Medal, honorary doctor of the University of Hong Kong.
