Biography of Abbott Lawrence Lowell

Abbott Lawrence Lowell (* 13. December 1856 in Boston; † 6. January 1943 in Boston) was a sachbuchautor, Jurist und Politikwissenschaftler, Präsident der Harvard-Universität. He was 86 years old. He was married to Anna Parker Lowell. His education included Harvard Law School, Harvard College and Noble and Greenough School. He received 4 awards, including Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, Honorary doctor of Leiden University. He was buried at Mount Auburn Cemetery.
