Biography of Abdul Sattar Edhi

Abdul Sattar Edhi (* 28. February 1928 in Bantva; † 8. July 2016 in Karachi) was a pakistani philanthropist, social activist, ascetic and humanitarian. He was 88 years old. He was married to Bilquis Edhi. He had 4 children. His faith was Islam. He received 7 awards, including UNESCO-Madanjeet Singh Prize, Balzan Prize. His cause of death was kidney failure.
