Biography of Abdullah Yusuf Ali

Abdullah Yusuf Ali (* 14. April 1872 in Mumbai; † 10. December 1953 in Brookwood) was an indischer Politiker und Gelehrter (Koran-Übersetzer). He was 81 years old. His education included University of Mumbai and St John's College. His faith was Islam. His awards include Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and Commander of the Order of the British Empire. He was buried at Brookwood Cemetery.
