Alain Colmerauer (* 24. January 1941 in Carcassonne; † 12. May 2017 in Marseille) was a französischer Informatiker. He was 76 years old. His education included École nationale supérieure d'informatique et de mathématiques appliquées de Grenoble and Grenoble Institute of Technology. He worked at Université de Montréal and Aix-Marseille University. His awards include Michel Monpetit Prize, Knight of the Legion of Honour and AAAI Fellow.
