Biography of Alan García

Alan García (* 23. May 1949 in Lima; † 17. April 2019 in Lima) was a president of Peru (1985–1990 and 2006–2011). He was 69 years old. He was married to Pilar Nores and Carla Buscaglia Castellano. His education included Complutense University of Madrid, Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne, Sorbonne Nouvelle-Paris 3 and National University of San Marcos. His awards include Collar of the Order of Isabella the Catholic‎, Hungarian Order of Merit and Order of the Liberator General San Martín. His cause of death was shot to the head.
