Alan Rickman (* February 21, 1946 in Acton; † January 14, 2016 in London) was a british actor and director. He was 69 years old. He was married to Rima Horton. His education included Chelsea College of Art and Design, Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, Latymer Upper School, Royal College of Art and Derwentwater Primary School. He received 5 awards, including BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role, Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Miniseries or Television Movie. His cause of death was pancreatic cancer.
