Biography of Alberto Azevedo

Alberto Azevedo (* 15. February 1933 in São Paulo; † 27. June 2014 in Campinas) was a ph.D. Purdue University 1967. He was 81 years old. His education included Purdue University, Aeronautics Institute of Technology and Harvard University. He worked at Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, University of Brasília, Instituto Nacional de Matemática Pura e Aplicada and National Council for Scientific and Technological Development. He was awarded the National Order of Scientific Merit.
