Biography of Aleksandr Platonov

Aleksandr Platonov (* 3. January 1931; † 17. September 2017 in Moscow) was a soviet mathematician. He was 86 years old. He studied at Moscow Aviation Institute. He worked at Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. He received 5 awards, including USSR State Prize, Lenin Prize. He was buried at Troyekurovskoye cemetery.
