Biography of Alexander Alexandrowitsch Baikow

Alexander Alexandrowitsch Baikow (* 25. July 1870 in Fatezh; † 6. April 1946 in Moscow) was a russischer Metallurg, Chemiker und Hochschullehrer. He was 75 years old. His education included Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of the Saint Petersburg University and Imperial St. Petersburg University. He worked at Saint Petersburg State University, Imperial St. Petersburg University, Peter the Great Saint Petersburg State Polytechnical University, Baikov Institute of Metallurgy and Materials Science and Russian Academy of Sciences. He received 10 awards, including State Stalin Prize, 1st degree, Hero of Socialist Labour. He was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
