Alexander Alexandrowitsch Friedmann (* 16. June 1888 in Saint Petersburg; † 16. September 1925 in Saint Petersburg) was a russischer Physiker und Mathematiker. He was 37 years old. His education included The Second Saint Petersburg Gymnasium and Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of the Saint Petersburg University. He worked at Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University, Saint Petersburg Mining University, Perm State National Research University, Saint Petersburg State University, The Voeikov Main Geophysical Observatory, Vavilov State Optical Institute JSC, Phazotron, N.G. Kuznetsov Naval Academy and Peter the Great Saint Petersburg State Polytechnical University. He received 7 awards, including Order of St. George, Order of St. Vladimir, 4th class. His cause of death was typhus. He was buried at Smolenskoye Orthodox Cemetery.
