Alexander Gomelsky (* 18. January 1928 in Kronstadt; † 16. August 2005 in Moscow) was a soviet basketball coach. He was 77 years old. He was married to Olga Gomelskaya. He received 10 awards, including Order of the Red Star, Master of Sport of the USSR, International Class. His cause of death was leukemia. He was buried at Vagankovo Cemetery.
