Alexander Michailowitsch Kurbatow (* 31. July 1949 in Berdsk; † 9. August 2010 in Moscow) was a soviet physicist. He was 61 years old. He studied at MSU Faculty of Physics. He worked at Steklov Institute of Mathematics. He was awarded the Medal "Defender of a Free Russia".
