Alexander Morison McAldowie (* 16. May 1852 in Aberdeen; † 9. April 1926) was a scottish physician, folklorist and ornithologist. He was 73 years old. He studied at University of Aberdeen. He worked at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Royal Surrey County Hospital and Royal Stoke University Hospital. His awards include Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh and Garner Medal.
