Biography of Alexandra David-Néel

Alexandra David-Néel (* 24. October 1868 in Saint-Mandé; † 8. September 1969 in Digne-les-Bains) was a französische Reiseschriftstellerin und ordinierte buddhistische Nonne in Tibet. She was 100 years old. She was married to Philippe Neel and Philippe Néel. She studied at Royal Conservatory of Brussels. Her faith was Buddhism. Her awards include Grande Médaille d'Or des Explorations and Commander of the Legion of Honour.
