Biography of Alexandre Cabanel

Alexandre Cabanel (* 28. September 1823 in Montpellier; † 23. January 1889 in Paris) was a französischer Maler. He was 65 years old. His education included Beaux-Arts de Paris and French Academy in Rome. He worked at Beaux-Arts de Paris. His awards include Commander of the Legion of Honour, Prix de Rome and Order of Saint Michael. He was buried at cemetery Saint-Lazare (Montpellier).
