Biography of Alexei Jefimowitsch Masurenko

Alexei Jefimowitsch Masurenko (* 7. June 1917 in Stepove; † 11. March 2004 in Saint Petersburg) was a twice Hero of the Soviet Union. He was 86 years old. His education included Yeysk Higher Military Aviation Institute and N.G. Kuznetsov Naval Academy. He received 4 awards, including Hero of the Soviet Union, Order of Lenin. He was buried at Nikolskoe Cemetery of Alexander Nevsky Lavra.
