Biography of Alexei Nikolajewitsch Bach

Alexei Nikolajewitsch Bach (* 5. March 1857 in Zolotonosha; † 13. May 1946 in Moscow) was a sowjetischer Biochemiker. He was 89 years old. His education included Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and Imperial University of St. Vladimir. He worked at Bach Institute of Biochemistry RAS, Timiryazev Institute of Plant Physiology and Karpov Institute of Physical Chemistry. He received 5 awards, including Hero of Socialist Labour, Order of Lenin. He was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
