Biography of Alexis von Volborth

Alexis von Volborth (* 11. July 1924 in Viipuri Province; † 30. October 2009 in Dayton) was a geologist. He was 85 years old. He studied at University of Helsinki. He worked at University of Nevada, Reno, Montana Technological University and Washington State University. He was awarded the Guggenheim Fellowship. He was buried at Nelson.
