Biography of Alfred Ernout

Alfred Ernout (* 30. October 1879 in Lille; † 16. June 1973 in 14th arrondissement of Paris) was a französischer Altphilologe. He was 93 years old. He worked at Collège de France, University of Paris, École pratique des hautes études and University of Lille. His awards include Officer of the Legion of Honour, Honorary doctor of the University of Groningen and Langlois prize.
