Biography of Alfred Hornig

Alfred Hornig (* 2. October 1911 in Chorzów; † 4. July 1999 in Chorzów) was a polish geographer end economist. He was 87 years old. His education included Faculty of Modern Languages and Literature, Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań University of Economics and Jagiellonian University. He worked at University of Economics in Katowice, University of the National Education Commission and Instytut Ekonomiki i Organizacji Przemysłu. His awards include Medal of the National Education Commission, Gold Cross of Merit‎ and Commander of the Order of Polonia Restituta.
