Biography of Alfred Sauvy

Alfred Sauvy (* 31. October 1898 in Villeneuve-de-la-Raho; † 30. October 1990 in Paris) was a französischer Demograph, Ethnologe und Wirtschaftshistoriker. He was 91 years old. His education included École polytechnique and Collège Stanislas de Paris. He worked at Collège de France and L'Express. He received 6 awards, including Grand Officer of the Legion of Honour, Grand Cross of the National Order of Merit. He was buried at Montalba-le-Château.
