Biography of Alfred Wendehorst

Alfred Wendehorst (* 29. March 1927 in Breyell; † 3. September 2014 in Fulda) was a deutscher Historiker, Landeshistoriker, Mediävist. He was 87 years old. His education included University of Würzburg and University of Cologne. He worked at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and University of Würzburg. His awards include Bavarian Order of Merit, Officer's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany and Aventinus medal.
