Ali Alparslan (* 1. January 1925 in Çorlu; † 24. January 2006) was a turkish calligrapher and writer. He was 81 years old. His education included Haydarpaşa High School, Istanbul University Faculty of Letters and University of Tehran. He worked at SOAS, University of London, Istanbul University Faculty of Letters, University of Chicago, Boğaziçi University, Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, General Directorate of State Archives of the Prime Ministry, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey and Ankara University Faculty of Divinity.
