Alice Amsden (* 27. June 1943 in Brooklyn; † 15. March 2012 in Cambridge) was an uS-amerikanische Entwicklungsökonomin. She was 68 years old. Her education included London School of Economics and Political Science and Cornell University. She worked at University of California, Los Angeles, Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Barnard College. She was awarded the Leontief Prize for Advancing the Frontiers of Economic Thought.
