Biography of Allen W. Phillips

Allen W. Phillips (* 17. June 1922 in Providence; † 18. March 2011 in San Diego) was an american Hispanist. He was 88 years old. His education included Dartmouth College, National Autonomous University of Mexico and University of Michigan. He worked at University of Texas at Austin, University of Michigan and University of Chicago. His awards include Civil Order of Alfonso X, the Wise and Guggenheim Fellowship.
