Biography of André Lichnerowicz

André Lichnerowicz (* 21. January 1915 in Bourbon-l'Archambault; † 11. December 1998 in Paris) was a französischer Mathematiker und Physiker. He was 83 years old. His education included Lycée Louis-le-Grand, École Normale Supérieure and Science Faculty of Paris. He worked at Collège de France, Science Faculty of Paris, University of Strasbourg and National Center for Scientific Research. He received 5 awards, including Commander of the Legion of Honour, Prix de la langue française.
