Biography of Andrei Jakowlewitsch Eschpai

Andrei Eshpai (* 15. May 1925 in Kozmodemyansk; † 8. November 2015 in Moscow) was a soviet and Russian composer (1925—2015). He was 90 years old. His education included Moscow Conservatory and Academic Music College of the Moscow Conservatory. He received 10 awards, including USSR State Prize, Medal "For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945". His cause of death was cerebrovascular disease. He was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
