Biography of Andrey Babayev

Andrey Babayev (* 27. December 1923 in Ağbulaq; † 21. October 1964 in Moscow) was a sowjetisch-aserbaidschanischer Komponist. He was 40 years old. He studied at Baku Academy of Music. His awards include Honored Art Worker of the Armenian SSR, Medal "For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945" and Medal "For the Defence of the Caucasus". He was buried at Armenian Cemetery.
