Biography of Angela Carter

Angela Carter (* 7. May 1940 in Eastbourne; † 16. February 1992 in London) was an englische Schriftstellerin. She was 51 years old. Her education included University of Bristol and Streatham and Clapham High School. She worked at University of Sheffield and University of East Anglia. Her awards include James Tait Black Memorial Prize, John Llewellyn Rhys Prize and Somerset Maugham Award. Her cause of death was lung cancer. She was buried at Putney Vale Cemetery.
