Biography of Anil Kumar Gain

Anil Kumar Gain (* 1. February 1919 in Bengal; † 7. February 1978 in Kolkata) was an indian mathematician and statistician. He was 59 years old. His education included University of Calcutta, Surendranath College, University of Cambridge and University College of Science, Technology & Agriculture. He worked at University of Calcutta and University of Cambridge. His faith was Hinduism. He was awarded the Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society.
